Congress volunteers later arranged vehicles for the migrant labourers to take them to their native places.A labourer, Monu, said, he was coming from Haryana, had to go to Jhansi.

Another migrant said Rahul Gandhi came and met them. "He booked the vehicle for us and said he will drop us to our homes. He gave us food, water and mask," said Devendra, a migrant labourer.
