Congress has attacked the government for the inhuman treatment of migrants on the shramik special trains, demanding the resignation of the railway minister, Congress said he should be ashamed of 81 deaths on these trains, congress also said that 40 per cent of shramik special trains ran late and no migrants were forced to travel without food and water.

The Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said, "If there is even a little shame, the Railway Minister should resign or the Prime Minister should remove him."

Home Minister Amit Shah himself has given a statement that 85 percent of the railway fare has been paid by the railway department and 15 percent has been borne by the states.

'The Attorney General said in the Supreme Court that 100 per cent fare of labour trains was paid by the respective states. He alleged, 'Repeated propaganda and false facts were kept from the government and BJP.
