Chandigarh cop controls traffic with baby in her arms!

Showcasing utmost commitment to her duty, a Chandigarh woman constable was seen controlling the traffic on the roads while holding a child in her arms. The constable, named Priyanka, was filmed by locals near her roundabout and the short video clip has gone viral on social media.

In the video, the traffic police officer Priyanka can be seen standing on the roads of Chandigarh's Sector 23-24 intersection, managing her work with an infant in her arms.

The video has gone viral with millions of views on social media. In the comments section of the post, several users applauded the police officer for managing her child while on duty. On the other hand, many users were absolutely against Priyanka's decision to bring her child to work.

One social media user wrote: "Salute to all mothers and their devotion."

Another user was against the Priyanka's decision to bring her child to work. User wrote: "Why is she carrying the baby on a busy road amidst the time of high air pollution and a pandemic? Personally, I don't feel this needs encouragement rather introspection."

According to media reports, the constable and another cop were supposed to report to duty at the intersection of sector 15/23 at 8 am but the duo failed to do so. Priyanka was pulled up for her absence and asked to report to her spot.

It was after this that Priyanka decided to bring her baby to work. According to the report, the staff at Traffic Line at Sector 29 asked her to go home and take leave if she needed to. The constable, however, went on with her duty with her baby.
