Neelabh Mishra, a man whose work spoke for him

There is no light in today's sun rays. This morning, dear friend Apoorvanand informed that Neelabh Mishra passed away. He was admitted in Apollo Hospital, Chennai. But from last few day we were receiving sad news about his health. Even then news of his demise was not less than a shock.

Forever a smiling face,Neelabh was a journalist who would speak less. But his work used to speak for him. He did a responsible journalism when there was a lack of it. He shaped outlook Hindi into a combative structure from a loosened shape. Neelabh's great affection towards art culture is a rare thing among journalist. He took over as Editor-in-chief of National Herald last year. He carried out many ritual even with restrictions.

I can imagine the pain of Neelabh's friend and companion Kavita Srivastava. She was a fierce lady fighting for citizen's right. Neelabh's demise would pain her more. But her struggle will not deviate from this. Neelabh will not be there but his memories will be there.
