Congress leader tweets his degrees to PM Modi as Twitter challenges take off

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is believed by his ardent supporters to have a 56-inch chest (never mind that Arnold’s career best was 54 inches), accepted Virat Kohli’s #FitnessChallenge on Twitter, he probably was expecting that this brawny expression was only going to earn him praise and accolades. But Twitterati were quick to overturn the PM’s display of masculine valour, using a series of challenges to ask humourous but pressing questions to the Prime Minister.

Congress National Spokesperson Sanjay Jha posted pictures of the certificates of his own degrees on Twitter and challenged the PM to put up copies of his own educational qualifications.

Senior journalist Sagarika Ghose was inspired to respond, tweeting proof of her own degree.

Many have asked PM Modi to respond to a challenge which questions his fitness to rule.

People took potshots at the leader for the appalling security situation on the international border.

Some reminded him that he has done very little to alleviate farmers’ woes.

And of course, there were journalists who wondered when the Prime Minister would face the media in an open house and take questions without vetting.
