EU MPs Modi Sarkar has invited to visit Kashmir are all from far right- See the list
No MP from the British Labour Party or a Tory for that matter. No MP from the Greens either. But four MPs from Brexit Party are among the MPs from the EU who will be visiting Srinagar on Tuesday
As protests build up over the visit of the delegation of EU MPs , a list widely being circulated of the visiting MPs indicate that almost all of them belong to extreme right wing parties in Europe.
There is outrage that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has rolled out the red carpet to them while ignoring mainstream Indian politicians, who have been prevented from visiting Jammu and Kashmir.
While the list of the EU MPs are appended at the bottom, there was outrage on Twitter as it became clear that the delegation was not an ‘official’ EU delegation but had been in all probability invited by the Government of India.
