Salman meets Shah Rukh Khan after Aryan's arrest

The drug bust aboard a ship cruise in Mumbai on Saturday has sent shock waves across the film industry. Shah Rukh’s son Aryan has been questioned and detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and arrested.

Shah Rukh Khan’s close friends are hoping that this crisis will blow over. Salman Khan visited Shah Rukh's residence Mannat on Sunday night.

“He’s a good boy. Very well brought up and never likely to shame his parents,” says a very close friend of Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri.

Shah Rukh Khan is not expected to make any statement on the issue in the near future. He is expected to postpone his impending shooting schedule of Pathaan in Spain to pursue his son’s release from custody.

A producer-friend of the Khans who has a teenaged son tells me this incident should be an eye-opener for all star-parents. “We have to be very careful about the children’s whereabouts. If they are caught in wrong company or seen at a dubious venue the shit is bound to hit the ceiling.”

The immediate outcome of this saddening incident would be an immediate grounding of other high-profile star sons. No partying for the star kids for a while.
