‘My father’s funds are stuck in #YesBank’, tweets Payal Rohatgi, targets Modi, Shah, later deletes; trolled

Actress and active social media user Payal Rohatgi has once again hit the headlines with her recent tweet over RBI cap on Yes Bank withdrawals.

Payal had slammed Modi government over the move and had requested the government and the Home Ministry to solve the crisis as her father’s money is stuck in the bank. She later deleted the tweet.

“Ram Ram ji. Get #YesBank to function @PMOIndia @HMOIndia. This is NOT DONE. My fathers funds are stuck. This is not a sign of blooming economy #PayalRohatgi’ within a few hours after the Yes Bank was placed under moratorium by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI),” her first tweet read.

Later Payal tweeted, ‘Ram Ram ji. Get #YesBank to function @PMOIndia @HMOIndia. This is NOT DONE. This is not a sign of blooming economy #PayalRohatgi’ within a few hours after the Yes Bank was placed under moratorium by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Soon, she tweeted with the same text but the mention about her father’s money was deleted. But by that time, she was heavily trolled as she has been a die-hard admirer of the Modi government and its policies.
