LIVE News Updates: NCB visit to Mannat was procedural requirement; no search operation conducted

NCB DDG Ashok Mutha Jain has said that the NCB's visit to Shah Rukh Khan's residence was part of a procedural requirement, reported ANI. There was no search operation at his house.

ANI reported that the Dearness Allowance for central government employees will be increased from 28% to 31%. The decision will be effective from from July 1, 2021 and will benefit pensioners as well.

The Supreme Court has said that farmers have the right to protest but roads can't be blocked indefinitely, reported ANI. The court has asked farmers' unions to file their response on the petition seeking removal of protesting farmers from roads. The matter has now been posted for hearing on December 7.
