Haryana extends lockdown till Jul 5, relaxations allowed earlier to continue
The Haryana government Sunday extended the coronavirus lockdown by another week till July 5, while allowing university campuses to open for research scholars and practical classes in laboratories.
"The Mahamari Alert-Surakshit Haryana is extended for another week that is from June 28 (5 am onwards) to July 5 (till 5 am) in the state of Haryana," Chief Secretary Vijai Vardhan said in an order issued under the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
The state government has termed the coronavirus lockdown "Mahamari Alert-Surakshit Haryana (Epidemic Alert-Safe Haryana)".

Man kills woman, ends life by suicide in UP district
In a shocking incident, a 25-year-old man shot dead his girlfriend and then ended his life by committing suicide.
The incident took place in Maula Maulagarh village in Chandosi Kotwali area.
The deceased has been identified as Shivam and the woman as Mamta, 24.

Two explosions rock technical area of Jammu airport
Two explosions within a gap of five minutes rocked the high security technical area of Jammu airport in the early hours of Sunday, officials said.
The explosions took place around 1.45 am. The first blast ripped off the roof of a building and the second one was on the ground.
There were no immediate reports of any casualties.
The area was sealed by security forces within minutes, the officials said.
Senior officials, police and forensic experts rushed to the scene.
There is no official word on it as of now. Further details are awaited.
