Students from Jammu and Kashmir staged a silent protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on Saturday, over the communication blockade in the Valley after Article 370 was abrogated by the Union government scrapping the special status to the status.
The students were protesting against the snapping of internet and phone services as they are unable to contact their family members.
It has been 26 days since Modi government scrapped Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Since then, The Valley has been under severe security restrictions, mobile and internet services have been snapped. However, over the last few days government claimed that the phone and internet services have been restored at some places.
