Former Pakistan envoy shares photo of adult film star Johnny Sins as Kashmiri who lost sight

Abdul Basit, Former Pakistani High Commissioner to India on Monday retweeted a photo of an adult film star Johnny Sins while claiming it as a Kashmiri man who lost his eye sight due to pellet injury.

Naila Inayat, Pakistan based journalist tweeted screenshots of Twitter post saying, "Former Pakistani High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit, mistakes Johnny Sins for a Kashmiri man who lost vision from pellet. Unreal times these, really."

In Inayat's screenshots, Abdul Basit's retweet can be seen in which there's the picture of the man a with this message, "Yousuf from Ananthnag...lost vision from pellet...pls raise your voice."

Basit later deleted his tweet.

It is not the first time Pakistanis have indulged in such goof-ups.

Ever since the Government of India announced its decision to abrogate Article 370 which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir, some Pakistanis have resorted to propagating fake news.
