Ramcharan Juyal , a little known musician who plays ‘Morchang’, a hand percussion musical instrument hailing from Dehradun has become part of the music video medley as one of the artists from all over the world created by “The Beatles story”, Liverpool.
The Beatles Story, Liverpool has created a feel good video featuring fans of the ‘Fab four’ from all over the world , who have come together to share a message of solidarity and support amid these uncertain times.
Liverpool Iconic tourist destination ‘The Beatles Story’, Liverpool was temporarily closed on March 17 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. In a move to keep the music lovers motivated, the Beatles Story launched a unique social media campaign. They requested music fans to send them a video of singing and playing musical instruments on the famous Beatles song “With a little help from friends”.
Ramcharan Juyal, (62) who plays ‘Morchang’, the percussion instruments finds a place in the video. Interestingly, the Beatles music group came and stayed at Rishikesh in 1968.
The campaign, which began before an official lockdown was announced, features fans singing, performing or dancing along to The Beatles’ hit ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’, all compiled into a medley video.
Diane Glover, Marketing Manager , The Beatles Story museum, Liverpool in a statement said “We’re hoping the video will bring a smile, not just to the faces of Beatles fans, but to everyone who can appreciate the sense of togetherness a simple video message can create”.
