Chairperson of Delhi Commission of Women, Swati Maliwal was called an anti-national by BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Goel on Saturday.

The tweet war started after DCW chairperson Swati Maliwal decried a controversial statement given by Haryana CM Manohar Khattar in which he said, “now we can marry girls from Kashmir and bring them to Haryana”. In her tweet she demanded an FIR be filed against Haryana chief minister:

Swati Maliwal also rebuked BJP MP Vijay Goel for posted an image of a BJP poster showing a Kashmiri girl, Modi and Amit Shah with a note- Article 370’s exit and enters your smile.

Sharply criticising this sexist poster Maliwal asked Modi and Shah to place their own daughters in the poster.

Soon after her tweet, Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Goel retweeted her post, calling her anti-national. He even dragged Delhi CM Kejriwal into the tweet saying Kejriwal supported the decision on the article 370 but this shows ‘Kejriwal Brigade’s hypocrisy’;

Later, Maliwal posted an image of a notice on Twitter asking the Delhi Police to file an FIR against Vijay Goel and Khattar.
