Well known cinematographer Nadeem Khan has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai after falling from a staircase. He fractured his collarbone and rib cage. He is in a critical condition.

According to his wife Parvati Khan he has been kept in COVID-19 ward.
“No one knows why but the hospital says it is a protocol. He needs urgent surgery. He did not step out of his home for two months, then why he has been exposed to active cases of COVID-19, this cannot be the part of Protocol”, she said objecting to the hospital’s decision to keep a patient requiring urgent surgery in a ward which is meant for patients infected with coronavirus.

His wife appealed to the film industry fraternity to help and get his surgery done as soon as it is possible.

Meanwhile, doctors at the hospital are reportedly waiting for his COVID-19 reports.

Son of veteran lyricist and author Rahi Masoom Raza, Nadeem Khan has shot more than 40 films including Disco Dancer, King Uncle, Ilzaam and Aag Hi Aag as a cinematographer. He has also tried his hands in direction and directed Tirchhi Topiwale starring Monica Bedi, Chunky Pandey and Inder Kumar.
