A complaint has been filed against former Maharashta CM Devendra Fadnavi, Tamil Nadu governor and ex Power Minister of Maharashtra for “forging documents” in order to acquire a piece of land in Nagpur
A police complaint has been filed on Tuesday against former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Tamil Nadu governor Banwarilal Purohit along with former Power Minister of Maharashtra, Chandrashekahr Bawankule for “forging documents” in order to acquire a piece of land in Nagpur.
Seeking registration of an FIR action against all three, the complainant Satish Uke alleged that "Fadnavis and Purohit share very close bonding and they had misused their position to benefit each other".
"A piece of land which actually belonged to Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) was transferred to a trust run by Purohit by forging documents. Ex-CM Fadnavis was in the know of the fraud," alleged Uke.
In his complaint, Uke sought action under the sections 467 ( forging documents), 468 ( forgery for the purpose of cheating) and 471 (using as genuine a forged document or electronic record) of the IPC against them.
