WATCH| BJP MLA dances to Karan Arjun songs with guns in hand

A video of Uttarakhand Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Pranav Singh Champion dancing to Bollywood item songs while brandishing guns in both his hands has gone viral.

Singh is known for several controversies in the past. He had previously been suspended from the party on grounds of indiscipline and misbehaviour.

In the viral video, MLA can be seen dancing with guns in both hands, and using foul and abusive language.

According to some reports, he was celebrating with his supporters his return home after a leg surgery. At a point in the video he can be seen wielding four guns while dancing to a song from the movie Karan Arjun.

His supporters can be seen massaging his ego by saying nobody else can do something like this in Uttarakhand. Correcting him, Pranav Singh Champion says “not only in Uttarakhand, but nobody could do something like this across India.”

Commenting on the video, BJP leader Anil Baluni said the party has taken cognizance of the video and party will take strict action against him. The party has taken action against him in the past too.

Baluni said the party does not support acts and language displayed by Pranav Singh Champion and added that the state unit would soon take action against him.

Before switching to BJP, Pranav Singh Champion was associated with Congress. He was elected for the fourth consecutive time in 2017 and is one of the senior Members of the Legislative Assembly in Uttarakhand. He has also served as Cabinet Rank Minister in the previous state governments.
