WATCH: Paytm CEO’s triumphalism as India queued up for cash

A recent video of Paytm CEO and India’s richest startup founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma’s “rousing speech” to a cheering audience of Paytm employees at the annual company party is out on YouTube. Sharma has also shared longer versions of this video on his Facebook wall. It’s an illuminating look at the triumphalism of the man atop the company that has benefited immensely from demonetisation, while Indians stood in line outside banks and ATMs to withdraw their own hard-earned money.
