Adil Hussain, Neeraj Kabi and Tillotama Shome starrer Raahgir (The Wayfarers) directed by Goutam Ghose,  will have it world premiere at Busan International Film Festival. The film will be in screened under “A Window on Asian Cinema section”.

Director Goutam Ghose, said“I am happy to know that Busan International festival has invited our film Raahgir (The Wayfarers) for the world premiere in early October. The film is a journey of ordinary people in cinematic time and space revealing the face of humanity. A travel of love and compassion. My actors are wonderful in the film. The technicians have also worked very hard in the difficult terrain to bring out the mood of the story. My producer Mr Amit Agarwal is a lover of artistic cinema. He was so helpful and passionate all through the journey.

Busan is a wonderful festival for the opening of a film.

The film tells a tale of human empathy in time of crisis and revolves around 3 characters and the relationship they make with each other through a journey in search of their livelihoods.

While Goutam Ghose is a multiple national award winning filmmaker (known for his films like Dakhal, Antarjali Jatra and Moner Manush in Bengali and Patang, Paar and Gudia among Hindi films), Producer Amit Agarwal is known for backing films like M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story and Kangana Ranaut starrer Simran.

Busan International Film Festival will take place from 3rd to 12th October in Busan and Raahgir will be screened on October 7th.
