‘Angrezi Medium’ trailer: This one moves you with hint of a powerful story about father-daughter bonding

It was the endearing message of Irrfan Khan on Twitter on Wednesday and then the trailer of upcoming film Angrezi Medium on Thursday immediately won over people with the hint of a powerful story of a small-town father who wants to fulfil his daughter’s dreams at any cost.

The film definitely has its funny moments too. And it happens very rarely that a Bollywood film talks about father-daughter bond instead of a love story or just the male (now female too) bonding.

It is heartening to see Irrfan Khan in his quintessential mettle. The chemistry between him and Deepak Dobriyal is amazing and hilarious. Kareen Kapoor too seems to be in a new avatar. Though Irrfan Khan informed in his message before the trailer was released that he won’t be able to take part in the promotion of the film due to health reasons, it seems that the trailer is powerful enough to make the film a hit. Irrfan Khan has been undergoing treatment for a neuroendocrine tumour in London and underwent surgery after completing the shoot for the film.

Twitter was flooded with positive messages about the film many welcoming Irrfan Khan after a hiatus and several others lauding the “pure, heartwarming and innocent spirit of the film:

Promising a magnificent ensemble of cast, a strong story and powerful performance, Angrezi Medium is slated to release on March 20.
