Riding high on the success of her recent release Luka Chuppi, Bareilly Ki Barfi actress Kriti Sanon celebrated her highest opening by distributing sweets to media.
Minting 8.01 crores on its first day, Kriti Sanon's Luka Chuppi marked her highest opening film. Owing to the overwhelming response and love to the film, the actress distributed sweets at a famous eatery in the suburbs of Mumbai.
Kriti Sanon has been garnering accolades for her apt portrayal of a small town girl Rashmi who drives the film with her idea of a live-in relationship against a marriage. The actor opines, “I feel that in growing cities like Mumbai live-in relationships are very common. But still, people judge a lot. Having said that, I feel getting to know each other before marriage, getting to know if two people are compatible with each other or not is very important. See it is always better to have clarity regarding a person. We can then only easily decide if we want to get married or not. But because we have this social pressure of getting married and we think people will judge us if we live with someone out of marriage, we often land in a situation where relationships are ruined. So I feel that people should not give in and there is nothing bad in a live-in relationship.”
Earlier, the actress received praises for her bold and beautiful character Bitti in Bareilly Ki Barfi.
Kriti Sanon has been treating the audience with varied characters giving a testimony of her versatility. With multiple films in her kitty, Kriti Sanon is currently busy promoting as well as shooting for her upcoming projects.
Marking her first release of the year with Luka Chuppi, Kriti will be next seen in Arjun Patiala, Housefull 4, and Panipat.
