Karwaan: A crazy journey of three lost souls

The official trailer of Karwaan was released on Wednesday. The film showcases a witty trio of Irfaan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan, a Malayalam actor who is making his Bollywood debut and Mithila Palkar, a web series star.

Karwaan traces the unusual journey of Avinash (played by Dulquer) who embarks on a journey to collect his father’s mortal remains. On his way, circumstances force him to befriend Shaukat(Irrfan Khan) and Tanya (Mithila).

The trailer is humorous, and the story line revolves around these three characters who have been called “oddballs” in the official synopsis of the film. Karwaan belongs to the slice-of-life genre of films and has been shot in the beautiful streets of Kerala.

Witty dialogues by Irfaan Khan combined with Dulquer’s straight unfunny comments leave a strong impact. Dulquer, the new comer is receiving massive compliments and appreciation on social media. Internet sensation Mithila Palkar also brings a cool vibe to the film with her impeccable acting skills and witty humour.

Directed by Akarsh Khurana, Karwaan will hit the big screens on August 3, 2018.
