Kalank teaser: Some teasers are to be endured not watched!!

The social media platforms are abuzz with the teaser of this period/costume drama which was released on Tuesday with much fan fare. The ‘Kalank’ teaser remained trending on Twitter for most part of the day, though the teaser itself offers nothing extraordinary barring the larger than life sets, glamorous costumes meant to be belonging to certain ‘period’.

This 80 crore magnum opus directed by Abhishek Verman has shades of ‘Baahubali’ though it doesn’t give you a glimpse of the story which apparently is set at the backdrop of Partition. But should that unfortunate and tragic historical event be treated with such glamour and grandiose--one is left wondering.

However, the teaser fails to impress, though the film has brought Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt after years and Varun Dhawan looks impressive in some shots.

The film is slated to be released on April 19 and if we go by the two dialogues showcased in the teaser, then ‘Kalank’ seems to be more of a revenge drama.
