Fanney Khan teaser: Anil Kapoor casts a spell as a musician in lungi

The much-awaited teaser of Fanney Khan, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao is out and it has become an instant hit on social media.

The short video clip introduces all the three lead stars of the film and also gives a glimpse of Anil Kapoor's role in the film. Rajkummar Rao narrates the story of Fanney Khan (Anil Kapoor), who dreams of making his daughter an established musician, reported NDTV.

Jo khud apni kahani likhe woh hi hai Fanney Khan, wrote Anil Kapoor while sharing the teaser.

Meanwhile, Producer Vashu Bhagnani has sent a legal notice to the makers of Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Anil Kapoor's Fanney Khan as his name as producer and distributor was missing from the credits of the Fanney Khan poster. The poster was released on Monday.

The film is an official remake of the Oscar nominated Dutch film Everybody's Famous. Fanney Khan is directed by Atul Manjrekar.

The film will bring Aishwarya and Anil together on the big screen after almost two decades. They had previously shared screen space in the 2000 film Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai and the 1999 hit musical Taal.
