Entertainment: Salman-Sohail are playing brothers in reel-life too
The real life siblings play brothers in the film <i>Tubelight</i>, their bonding helped director Kabir Khan to get right emotions on camera in one shot
Bollywood actor Sohail Khan apparently was very excited at the offer of acting in Tubelight, which is produced by his brother. He wanted to work with his brother Salman Khan and director Kabir Khan. Tubelight will bring back Khan brothers together onscreen after God Tussi great Ho.
“It was a no-brainer for me to say yes to the film as it had Salman and Kabir on board,” Sohail told reporters at the trailer launch of Tubelight on Thursday night. Salman Khan tweeted the poster also.
The real life siblings play brothers in the film, their bonding helped Kabir to get right emotions on camera in one shot.
According to Sohail, working with director Kabir Khan on the film was a learning process for him.
Superstar Salman Khan credited his co-star and brother, Sohail Khan, for helping him perform well in the upcoming film.
Tubelight is scheduled to release on Eid, the film also has late actor Om Puri, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo appearance.
Stars praise Sachin: A Billion Dreams
Sachin’s biopic, Sachin: A Billion Dreams, releases on Friday. Bollywood and Cricket stars came for the premiere and celebrated Master-blaster’s journey on the reel.
Amitabh Bachchan also marked his presence with his family. He appreciated Tendulkar’s journey and the film on the social media. On Thursday, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted on the film expressing how proud he is of Sachin Tedndulkar.
Virender Sehwag could not attend the premier but he conveyed his best wishes to ‘Godji’ and posted his video on Twitter with a lighthearted comment.
Sachin Tendulkar too thanked the Indian cricket team for making his film premier show special.
Opened to rave reviews on Friday, Sachin: A Billion Dreams is written and directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka and Carnival Motion Pictures under the banner 200 NotOut Productions.
