Like the South, Bollywood too has started adding a south Indian actor so that the film has an appeal all over India. That is probably the reason why Salman Khan has decided to release his film in four languages. The actor took to social media and announced that Dabangg 3 will be releasing in four languages that includes Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

Dabangg has two south Indians in the film--Kannada and Telugu star Sudeep and is directed by Tamil actor- choreographer and director Prabhu Deva. A source from the south said, “it will help the film's business in a big way. Even a South filmmaker like SS Rajamouli has signed mainstream Bollywood actors for his next film RRR as the film will have larger appeal.”

RRR has Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn playing the main leads in the film.

Vijay Kumar who has been buying and selling South film rights for over 15 years said, “It is only being done for expansion of business by both the North and the South. This business model will add about 20 to 25 per cent to the business of the film if released in more than one language.”
