Alia Bhatt to star opposite Salman Khan in Bhansali’s ‘Inshallah’

It is official. Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt will be playing the main lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah.

The superstar whose last film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam took to twitter and wrote,"it’s been 20 years but I am glad Sanjay and I are finally back in his next film, Inshallah. Looking forward to work with Alia and inshallah we will all be blessed on this journey."

Alia Bhatt was spotted at Bhansali's residence on Monday night almost confirming her presence in the film. The actress who are in the middle of Kalank promotion said, "Dream with your eyes wide open they say and I did. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together and I can't wait to join them on this beautiful journey called ‘Inshallah’”.

The pre-production of the film has already begun and if sources are to be believed Bhansali and Salman are planning an Eid release.

There were reports about Shah Rukh Khan being roped in for the same film but the official announcement did not have his name.

Ranveer Singh was also spotted at Bhansali's house. Did he just drop a hint with his presence--only time will tell.
