Ali Abbas Zafar turns producer with ‘Khaali Peeli’, starring Ishaan Khattar and Ananya Panday

The first film that Ali Abbas Zafar is going to produce, will go on the floor in September is set in Mumbai. Khaali Peeli is a young edgy roller coaster ride that starts one night when a boy meets a girl and what happens next.
Ishan Khatter and Ananya Pandey, lead stars of the movie posted on Instagram, officially announcing the movie Khaali Peeli.

The film is being directed by Maqbool Khan and produced by Ali Abbas and Himanshu Mehra.

Ali Abbas Zafar said, "Khaali Peeli's process has been organic. Maqbool, Himanshu and I have worked on the script for almost a year after we thought it was ready to be made we decided to go to Zee Studios that is not only producing this film but another massive project that we are working on."

This project is going to be Ishaan Khatter’s third film as an adult actor. The actor was earlier going to be part of a web show to be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj but opted out of it at the last moment.
