In view of the ongoing pandemic of coronavirus, SPIC MACAY has decided to start its ‘Anubhav’ series for children on line form June 1. The organisation usually organises these cultural events in large educational institutes.

Supriti, a senior volunteer at SPIC MACAY told national Daily The Hindu that the international convention of SPIC MACAY was scheduled to be held in IIT Kanpur from Jun1 to 7, but due to the lockdown in view of the coronavirus spread, this could not happen. Since about 2,000 students had also registered for the event, hence they decided to go on line.

Although it was a challenge to organise such a big event on line, but SPIC MACAY took care of the details and finally are ready with their on line programme. More than 100 artists are taking part in it including Pundir Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pundit Jasraj, L Subramaniam, Warsi Brothers, Ghulam Muhammad Sheikh, Shyam Benegal, Shabana Azmi, Kara Singh and many other prominent personalities.


The SPIC MACAY has received more than 51 thousand registrations for this mega on lie event. Prime Minister Modi has already sent his inaugural address which will be broadcast at 4 pm on Monday.
