Actor Mandira Bedi’s husband & filmmaker Raj Kaushal is no more. The filmmaker passed away due to cardiac arrest on Wednesday morning. Raj Kaushal was just 49 years old, and his untimely demise has come as a huge shock to his friends and family. He is survived by his wife Mandira, son Vir, and daughter Tara.
Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal had married in 1999, and they welcomed their first child Vir in 2011 who is 10 years old now. Mandira & Raj had also welcomed a 4-year-old girl, Tara through adoption in the family in July last year.

Actor Rohit Roy confirming Raj Kaushal's demise said,
“Raj passed away this morning, around 4.30 am, he had a heart attack. He was at home, by the time the family could get any medical help, Raj had gone.”
Later, Rohit posted an emotional note bidding goodbye to Raj Kaushal. He wrote : “And just like that, he’s gone, even without saying good bye. Too numb with grief and shock to react. This is not fair, just not fair.
The writer-director-producer helmed three films in his career – Pyaar Mein Kabhie Kabhie, Shaadi Ka Ladoo and Anthony Kaun Hai. He began his career as a copywriter & started his own advertising production company in 1998 and went on to direct over 800 commercials.

Actress Neha Dhupia, who was among the group of friends Raj Kaushal reportedly spent time with over the weekend, wrote in her post : "Raj, we took this picture to create more and more memories. Can't believe you are not with us anymore. Mandira , my strong, strong girl, I am at a loss of words. My heart belongs to Vir and Tara. I'm shaken up and in shock and disbelief as I write this, RIP Raj."
