US President Donald Trump’s attempt at covering up for his spelling blunder on Wednesday didn’t cut ice with Twitter users, who asked him to “stop it.”

At 12:06 am on Wednesday, Trump had tweeted out, “Despite the constant negative press covfefe.” The tweet got retweeted more than a million times before it was finally deleted around morning. According to a report by American broadcaster ABC, Trump’s tweet has become his most retweeted post since he assumed presidency.

The hashtag ‘covfefe’ started to trend on Twitter and was trending until a few hours back.
Trump got massively trolled for the midnight tweet, as many of Trump’s 31 million followers tried to figure out the meaning of “covfefe.”
A Twitter user called the American President a “Dumb Drunk Idiot” in response to his tweet. The response got retweeted 2,207 times and had been liked more than 20,000 times till the time of writing this story.
