According to sources in the Government of India, the Centre is so livid with former Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha’s article in The Indian Express that tore into Arun Jaitley and the present government’s handling of finance and economic policy that the writer’s son, Jayant Sinha, who is Minister of state of Civil Aviation, has been asked to pen a rebuttal which will be published in tomorrow’s edition of The Times of India.

It is also noteworthy that former Finance Minister P Chidambaram’s press conference was not covered by any channel other than NDTV and MirrorNow. In the press meet, Chidambaram reiterated what he has been saying for months now and what was corroborated by Yashwant Sinha in his article which has gone viral.
