Ahead of the Bihar assembly elections, the political parties, JD(U) and RJD, are attempting to take down each other through the poster war

Ahead of the Bihar assembly elections, the political parties, JD(U) and RJD are attempting to take down each other through the poster war as on Thursday, once again a new poster against the Bihar government was seen hanging at a roundabout in Patna.

The Opposition party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has put the hoarding against the CM Nitish Kumar and deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi.

Berating Nitish Kumar and Sushil Kumar Modi the poster calls them the ‘trouble engines’.

Nitish’s picture has been put up at the left side of the poster, describing him as ‘Loot express’ and on the right, ‘ Jhoot express’ is written with the picture of Sushil Modi.

The poster war was started between Janta Dal United (JDU) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on January 2 after the JD(U) released posters in Bihar's capital Patna which projected 15 years (1990-2005) the RJD government as failure and Nitish Kumar-led JD(U) government as a successful regime.

To counter the attack of the JD(U), the RJD also released its posters portraying Nitish and Sushil Kumar Modi carrying bucket of lies and hollow promises to mislead the people.

The poster war is merely a stunt to attract the voters’ attention before the state assembly polls which are just nine months away.
