Indore-Patna Express derails near Kanpur; over 100 feared dead

With rescue operations still underway, the death toll is expected to rise from 65

At 3.10 am on Sunday morning, 14 coaches of the 19321 Indore-Rajendranagar Patna Express derailed near Pukharayan in Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh. Ministry of Railways announced that relief and rescue operations had begun and that an enquiry has been ordered.
