Shraddha Kapoor is known for her style and fashionable appearances, but the actress says in real life she is quite tomboyish.
In her upcoming film Half Girlfriend, directed by Mohit Suri, Shraddha plays a high society Delhi girl named Riya Somani, a character which is starkly different from her real self.
"In real life, I am tomboyish. I've to be presentable here but Mohit has seen me how I am, mostly in track pants and slippers," the actress told reporters in Mumbai at an event.
The Baaghi actress said she could connect with her character's love for simplicity and finding joy in small things.

"I am very impatient when it comes to doing hair and make up. I connect with Riya in the sense that she finds happiness in simplicity.
"Like getting wet in the first rain and small little things, I relate with such things a lot. The small things in life give me real happiness."
The film, based on Chetan Bhagat’s book of the same title, is scheduled to release on May 19.
At the re launch of the book Half Girlfriend, director Mohit Suri revealed on Monday that Half Girlfriend is the first Indian film to be shot inside United Nation’s office in New York, that too free of cost.

Meri Pyaari Bindu is being touted as her second stint in Bollywood but actress Parineeti Chopra says she was never really away from films.
The 28-year-old actress, whose last Bollywood outing was 2014 film Kill Dill, says her break from the big screen was well-planned.
"It was not that I had gone anywhere. It is just that I wanted to build a house and I wanted to work on my fitness. I had six back-to-back releases so I needed sometime off and that is what I did. I genuinely had so many other things to do that there was no time to shoot a film," Parineeti said.
Parineeti is now busy with the promotion of her film Meri Pyari Bindu opposite Aayushmann khurrana. The film has been directed by debutant director Akshay Roy. The Yash Raj Films project is produced by Maneesh Sharma. The movie is set to hit the theatres on May 12.
