Nationalist TV channels may have blacked out discussions on the arrest of 19 people in Madhya Pradesh by the Anti Terror Squad for their alleged links with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), but shocking disclosures continue to tumble out following their interrogation.

Madhya Pradesh ATS has so far arrested 19 people following information received from two terrorists in the RS Pura Sector of Jammu & Kashmir. Among them are Balram Singh, the kingpin of the spy ring, Dhruv Saxena, Manish Gandhi, Mohit Agrawal, Manoj Bharti, Sandeep Gupta, Ritesh Khullar, Khush Pandit, Jitendra Yadav, Trilok Bhaduria and Jitendra Thakur.

Laptops, 50 mobile phones, 3,000 SIM cards and 50 ‘SIM Boxes’ were recovered from their possession. The network, their interrogation has now revealed, extends to four major cities, several states and their operations are being carried out through 30 Telephone Exchanges.

Mocking the Bharatiya Janata Party as the world’s first ‘ISI certified political party’, Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia on Friday claimed that not one but at least four of the 19 arrested people happen to be closely related to the BJP, Bajrang Dal and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

The kingpin Balram Singh, he revealed, was associated with the Bajrang Dal while Dhruv Saxena arrested from Bhopal was the coordinator of the Bharatiya Yuva Morcha’s IT cell. Jeeten Singh arrested from Gwalior is a close relative of a BJP councilor while Ashish Singh Rathod from Satna happens to be a VHP worker.

“While the Sangh Parivar gives certificates on nationalism, they had not even checked the background of its members,” he said.

Alleging that in the last two and half years, the country’s security has been compromised by the BJP, Scindia pointed out how the websites of the MHA and the NSG had been hacked and information now suggests that the railway accident at Kanpur was also engineered by the ISI.

Ridiculing the Prime Minister’s claim that the surgical strike by the Indian Army was carried out on Pakistan’s soil, Scindia wondered whether the NDA Government had conceded the territory of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir as being Pakistani territory.

Scindia called for a CBI inquiry monitored by the Supreme Court into the ISI network.
