Monsoon fury: Citizen journalists flood social media with deluge videos

According to an IFRC report, 11 million in India have been affected by the monsoon floods. Citizens from across the affected areas have posted on social media appealing to government for help

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) says, over 16 million people have been affected by monsoon flooding across India, Nepal and Bangladesh and more than 400 people have died in the three countries. Parts of Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Bihar and Gujarat in India have been ravaged by floods. Chief ministers of these states have requested the Centre for help and in many parts the army has been sent to help.

The situation is such that even the citizens from various flood affected areas are posting videos and messages on social media and appealing the authorities and even Prime Minister Modi for help. Here are some videos which tell how grave the situation is:
