Toronto police have said 14 people, including a young girl, were shot at 9 pm local time on Sunday when a gunman opened fire in the area of Danforth Avenue and Logan Avenue in the Canadian city's Greektown neighbourhood. Toronto Police Chief Saunders was quoted as saying 14 people were injured, one victim died from her injuries and the suspected shooter is dead.

In a video posted on Twitter, the alleged shooter can be seen walking down a pavement and then opening fire.
