Americans have to flush ‘10 times, 15 times’: Trump on low water pressure

President Donald Trump asked in a White House gathering on Friday to solve a problem created by the US toilets which required flushing ‘10 times, 15 times and they end up using more water’

President Donald Trump asked in a White House high-profile gathering on Friday to solve a problem created by the US toilets which required flushing "10 times, 15 times” as a result of which people “end up using more water”. He said they are looking at "opening up the standard" of water-saving regulations, so that Americans can get rid from poor water pressure caused by conservation laws.

The President has directed the federal environmental authority (EPA) to loosen regulations on water use and he talked with business owners to end over regulation.

Trump said, while explaining with the expression, "You turn on the faucet and you don't get any water. They take a shower and the water comes dripping out. It's dripping out, very quietly dripping out."

He added further, “You can’t wash your hands practically, there's so little water coming out of the faucet. And the end result is you leave the faucet on and it takes you so much longer to wash your hands and you end up using the same amount of water."

Trump emphasised on water-saving regulations with an example, "There may be some areas where we'll go the other route — desert areas. But for the most part, you have many states where they have so much water that it comes down — it's called rain — that they don't know, they don't know what to do with it."
