The reports of BJP's defeat in Madhya Pradesh is giving sleepless nights to CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan and his candidates. Shivraj and other BJP candidates are facing Opposition from people wherever they go campaigning.

When Meena Singh, the BJP MLA from Manpur constituency, went to appeal for votes in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh, she had to face the anger of the locals. One of men in the crowd asked the BJP candidate why she had returned after five years. “What is the meaning of your visit,” the person questioned?

The stunned legislator said, “You can vote for anyone you wish, but I have come to here to meet rest of the people.”

In the video, which is going viral, the legislator arrived in the village with a driver. The legislator stopped after seeing people standing outside their house and asked them to vote for her in the assembly election.

The person present in the crowd said that you if she wanted votes, she should pay attention to the constituency too. “You people come when the term is over,” said the unidentified person. On hearing this, the MLA Meena Singh started listing out the works undertaken by her government, to which the irate person said that whatever she had listed has been going on since the Congress government 15 years ago.

Even before this, Shivraj’s wife and son had to face the ire of people in Budhni. A irate woman had said that the problem of drinking water has not been settled till date and that she would only come when elections approached. It was not just his wife, even Shivraj Singh’s son Kartikeya had to face opposition while he was campaigning.
