They say power makes you powerful but they also power say can make you mad. Proving this statement, a BJP MLA from Agra district has stirred a controversy. A video of Udaybhan Chaudhary has gone viral in which he can been seen threatening the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Garima Singh.

“You are working against the government…you want to prove it to me that you are SDM? Don't you know I am an MLA? You don’t have the manners to talk. Don't you realise my power, not realise democracy?… A servant… ?,” Chaudhary can be seen threatening the woman SDM.

Chaudhary had gone to meet the SDM over farmer issues. Later the supporters of the BJP MLA can be heard shouting slogans of, “SDM Murdabad”. Udaybhan is the MLA from the Fatehpuri Sikri assembly constituency of Uttar Pradesh.

MLA was later asked to apologise to SDM Garima Singh but he said he would not apologise.

On the contrary, he accused the SDM that she was not listening to the public and was putting his point across in a wrong way. Whereas, SDM Garima Singh had said that the allegations made by the MLA were baseless.

When asked about the incident, District Magistrate NG Ravi Kumar said, “I have called the SDM as well as the concerned MLA tomorrow to discuss the issue.” No complaint has been filed in connection with the incident so far, Kumar said.
