WATCH: Mirzapur journalist saying how Yogi govt is persecuting him for breaking roti-salt story

Pawan Jaiswal, the Mirzapur reporter who broke the roti with salt in mid-day meal story, telling how Uttar Pradesh government is lodging criminal cases against journalists and others who dare to criticise it, in order to silence them.

In this video he reiterates that he reported what he saw on the spot and that this irregularity had been going on for quite some time and was not a one-off instance

He said that the District Magistrate had reached the spot after the news reached him and suspended several officials for dereliction of duty, but now to hide its own inefficiency, the district administration was now targeting him.
