The Congress Party has latched on to a rap track, Azadi, from upcoming Bollywood flick Gully Boy to highlight the alleged scams, failures and law and order breakdown during the four-and-a-half years of rule under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The video, shared on Congress' Twitter handle on Friday, was retweeted more than 3,000 times and liked more than 8,000 times at the time of writing this report. It was viewed close to 90,000 times.
At one point, the viral video features Congress President Rahul Gandhi who can be heard saying, “Be it Narendra Modi, the BJP or the RSS, they are all cowards. If we join hands, they will all run away.”

The catchy tune and lyrics of the track are reminiscent of the controversial episode on the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University in 2016.
Through a montage of pictures and short clips, the video throws light on some of the notable controversies that have taken place under Modi, including the Rafale deal, the rising atrocities against Dalits and minorities, the high-handedness against students and other several alleged scams with links to Modi government's ministers, among others.
The BJP had also conceived of a video on the same tune and lyrics, which was shared on its Twitter handle late on Friday evening.
