Controversial BJP MP Pragya Thakur, a known Godse “bhakt”, took a U-turn on Friday after being severely criticised for calling Nathuram Godse, who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi in 1948, a “Deshbhakt” in Parliament.
Though Thakur tendered an apology on Friday, she had earlier claimed that her statement was taken out of the context.
However, contrary to her claims, her voice can clearly be heard in the video that was later tweeted out by many journalists on Thursday.

In the video Pragya can be heard interrupting DMK leader A Raja when he was speaking in the upper house of the Parliament. Raja was explaining how Godse held a grudge against Gandhi for years.
Her statement about Godse was later expunged from LS record
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi slammed Pragya for her statement and called her a “terrorist”.
“Terrorist Pragya calls terrorist Godse, a patriot. A sad day, in the history of India's Parliament,” Gandhi had tweeted.

The video not only exposes the lies of the so-called godwoman Pragya Sadhvi, but also poses a question: If she has not called Godse a deshbhakt then why has she tendered an apology?
