Amid scare of cornoavirus, the idols of Ram Lalla were shifted from tent in Garbha griihya (sanctum sanctorum) to a temporary temple near Manas Bhawan in Ram Janmabhoomi premises on early morning of Wednesday which also happens to be the first day of Navratra.

The ritual started at 4 am on Wednesday when the idols were shifted amidst chanting of vedic hymns by the sadhus and purohits. The idols would stay at the bullet proof makeshift temple till completion of the construction of Ram Temple.
The new makeshift temple is around 250 meters away from the old tented temporary temple which was made after the demolition of the Babri mosque on December 6,1992.

On the occasion CM Yogi Adityanath also presented a cheque of ₹ 11 lakhs for the construction of the grand Ram temple temple. Among the others who were present on the occasion were members of the Ramjanambhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust and all the senior saints and members of the Ayodhya movement .
Yogi told reporters in Ayodhya that first phase of construction of a grand Ram Temple has been completed and now the construction work will start soon.

Trust general secretary Champat Rai told media persons that rituals to shift Ram Lalla commenced after mid night at around 0200 hours and the idols were placed on the throne at the new temple during Bhrama Muhrat at 0400 hrs.
Around 15 priests from Delhi, Prayagraj, Mathura, Kashi and Ayodhya performed the rituals from Monday morning which ended this morning.
