A resident of Bilariyaganj block, the epicenter of anti-CAA protests in Azamgarh district, six-year-old Anabia Imaan has received a surprise postcard and gifts from Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday.

The handwritten postcard, written in Hindi in black ink, reads, “Dear Anabia, I have bought a few things for you. I hope you will like them. Always remain my ‘brave girl’ and whenever you want to, call me. Lots of love, Priyanka Aunty.”

The postcard and gifts which included a bag and diary were handed over to Anabia by the head of the UP-Congress minority cell, Shahnawaz Alam.
After a police crackdown on anti-CAA protesters, Priyanka had visited Bilariyaganj block and had met family members of those who had been jailed for taking part in anti-CAA protests.
