It does seem that BJP is having a tough time in Madhya Pradesh. An audio clip conversation of a telephone conversation between prominent BJP leaders from Madhya Pradesh has gone viral.
The audio clip is allegedly of a close associate of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and BJP’s candidate from Vidisha Mukesh Tandon and State President Rakesh Singh.
In the audio clip, the BJP candidate from Vidisha can be heard saying that he had to spend a lot of money to mobilise people for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in the state, as no one wanted to listen him. Tandon went on to say that if the BJP had to win, they would have to distribute liquor, saris and money to garner votes.
The Congress has handed over the audio clip to the Election Commission while registering a complaint. National Herald couldn’t verify the authenticity of the video.
Mukesh Tandon has called it a fake audio and demanded investigation. There has been no complaint from the BJP as yet.
