Meghalaya relaxes upper age limit for candidates applying for Govt services by 5 years
Cabinet has decided to relax the upper age limit for candidates applying for Govt services by 5 years. This will however not be applicable for Departments like Police.
Through this decision, the age relaxation has been increased from 27 to 32 years and for Scheduled Tribes (STs) another five years will be added thereby relaxing the upper age limit to 37 years: Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma

According to ANI, India reported 2,82,970 new Covid cases (44,889 more than yesterday), 441 deaths, and 1,88,157 recoveries in the last 24 hours. This takes the number of active cases to 18,31,000, the daily positivity rate to 15.13%, while 8,961 total Omicron cases have been detected so far; an increase of 0.79% since yesterday.
