India’s GDP contracted by 23.9% in June quarter compared to 3.1% growth in previous quarter
The National Statistical Office (NSO) released its GDP figures for the first quarter (April-June) of the financial year 2020-21 on Monday. The data is vital as it provides the first benchmark on the state of India’s economy after coronavirus pandemic.
