Farooq Abdullah: Neither Ram nor Allah will vote, it will be people who will

Attacking the BJP on the issue of Ram temple, National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah said that Lord Ram will not help BJP win the election 2019. It is the the people of the country who will vote.

“They (BJP) think that Lord Ram will win them the 2019 elections. The God will not help them win the elections, it is the people who will vote, neither Lord Ram nor Allah will vote,” said Farooq Abdullah

Earlier on Thursday, November 1, BJP MP and RSS ideologue Rakesh Sinha suggested that he would soon introduce a private member's bill in Parliament seeking the construction of a Ram temple on a disputed site in Ayodhya.

Rakesh Sinha tweeted in hindi, "To those who keep asking the BJP and the RSS about when Ram temple will be constructed, I have a straight question: Will you support my private member bill?"

RSS ideologue also questioned why the Supreme Court was delaying hearing the matter and said that the issue of a Ram temple in Ayodhya is a "top priority for Hindu society"

The Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi title dispute case is currently in the Supreme Court. The court recently said that it would decide in January when to begin hearing the case.
